Metamorphosis is an ambient examination of the link between change and time. The source materials for these slow, evolving pieces were almost entirely organic. Strings, choirs, and horns were used in the original songs that served as the basis for each reimagining. For example, A SLOW STREAM is entirely created from an earlier song I wrote called UPSTREAM. In each case, the source songs were subjected to heavy effects, stochastic temporal remapping, or extreme time-stretching. The result is ethereal, gently unfolding, and unhurried.
